Abram's Refusal: When God's Ownership Changes Everything
Abram had won the battle. Two kings walked toward him with offers. But he had already decided whose name he wanted attached to his story. His refusal came not from scarcity, but from a clarity that God Most High already owned everything that mattered.
There is a particular kind of pause that happens when something is held out to you and you are not entirely sure you should take it. Maybe it is a check that is a little too generous. Maybe it is an introduction to someone who could open doors, an opportunity that arrived through a channel you would rather not examine too closely. Nothing about it is illegal. No one would even notice. But some quiet part of you already senses that saying yes might cost you something you cannot yet name. Have you ever accepted help from a source you were not sure you could trust, and then spent a long time afterward trying not to think about it?
