Daily Braids is designed to help us find our center amidst the noise. We don’t yell, and we don’t offer hot takes. We simply weave Scripture and practice into the three relationships that define a life: God, Neighbor, and Self.
The Three Strands (Our Lens)
Every devotional here—whether free or paid—is viewed through a specific lens. These aren’t just categories; they are the strands we are learning to weave together:
- Upward (God): Beholding God’s character and deepening the life of prayer.
- Inward (Self): Examining our own hearts, naming our fears, and finding rest.
- Outward (Neighbor): Extending mercy, justice, and hospitality to the world around us.

Choose Your Rhythm
Spiritual formation isn't one-size-fits-all. We offer different depths of engagement depending on your season of life:
- The Braid (Paid): Our primary daily devotional. We go deep into a single passage, uncovering nuances of language and context, followed by a warm invitation to practice. Released daily.
- The Strand (Paid): A shorter, focused daily reflection. Perfect for a morning start or an evening reset when time is thin but the need for Scripture is high. Released daily.
- The Weekly Weave and Midweek (Free): A free Sunday devotional and Wednesday reflection delivered to your inbox and always available on the website. The Sunday issue helps you reset for the week ahead; the midweek reflection goes deeper into a passage or an author's writings.
How to practice spiritual formation isn’t about finishing a checklist; it’s about starting a rhythm. Whether you are here for a weekly reset or a daily deep-dive, Daily Braids exists to help you move from consuming content to practicing your faith. In our deeper offerings (like The Braid), you will find specific embodied practices—tangible, real-world ways to live out the text in your relationships with God, neighbor, and self. You are greeted in whatever season you are in, trusting you to untangle the noise and weave these truths into your life at your own pace.
