Welcome to Daily Braids. By using this website and subscribing to our offerings, you are entering into a simple agreement with us. These Terms are here to protect the "quiet corner" we are building together and to ensure the sustainability of this work.

Daily Braids is a digital publication operated by Stick Glass, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company.

1. The Nature of the Work

Daily Braids offers reflections at the intersection of ancient scripture and modern life. Daily Braids takes great care in research, using advanced technology to assist in language and historical overviews, and every devotional is ultimately the result of human editorial engagement.

These reflections are offered for spiritual formation and educational purposes. They are not a substitute for professional counseling, medical advice, or crisis intervention.

2. Subscriptions and Stewardship

To support the slow, steady work of Daily Braids, we offer paid subscription tiers managed through Ghost and Stripe.

• Billing: By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
• Cancellations: You are in total control of your subscription. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Your access to paid content will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Because our content is digital and you have access immediately, we do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has been processed. If there has been a technical error or a unique circumstance, reach out to Stripe and us as well.

3. Protecting the Craft (Intellectual Property)

The words, metaphors, and "braids" found here are the intellectual property of Stick Glass, LLC.

• Sharing is Encouraged: We love it when you share a brief snippet or a quote that resonated with you on social media or with a friend. Please just provide a link back to the original post.
• Respect the Work: You may not republish entire devotionals, use our content for commercial purposes, or "scrape" our site to train AI models without our express written permission.

4. Prohibited Conduct

We ask that all interactions reflect the Great Commandment: love for God and neighbor. You are prohibited from using this site to:

• Engage in any activity that violates state or federal law.
• Impersonate others or abuse, harass, or intentionally disrupt members of this community.
• Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the website or its security.

The Company reserves the right to remove any post, content, or user account that engages in prohibited conduct in violation of this section, as determined in its sole discretion.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Daily Braids is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Stick Glass, LLC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or continuous availability of the site. 7. Modifications to Terms

The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, revise, or update these Terms occasionally for any reason at any time. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the site. Your continued access to or use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.

The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute arising out of these Terms informally before initiating formal proceedings. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in the State of Michigan, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

Any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arises, or such claim will be permanently barred.

The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, and the Privacy Policy of the Company, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and understandings, whether written or oral.
