God Hears What You Can't Say — Psalm 81
God notices when we're struggling in ways we can't even articulate. He hears the groans beneath our words, the exhaustion we try to hide. Even when we feel spiritually mute, God is listening to languages we didn't know we were speaking.
We all know the feeling. The phone rings, and your stomach drops. It's them, the person you've let down again. You let it go to voicemail, unable to bear hearing disappointment in their voice one more time. Part of you wants to answer, to hear them say it's okay. But another part knows you'll just fail them again.
