Picture yourself walking toward something you're not sure you can bear to see. Maybe it's checking test results that could change everything. Or opening the door to a house that no longer holds what it once promised. Your feet keep moving even though your heart is bracing for the worst. This is exactly where Mary Magdalene and the other Mary find themselves at dawn on Sunday morning, walking toward Jesus' tomb with shattered hopes, showing up even when showing up feels impossible.
