You're the One Heaven Won't Rest Without — Matthew 18
You might feel like one in a hundred, too small to matter in the grand scheme. But you're the one heaven won't rest without. That's God's mathematics. That's your worth.
We understand the mathematics of loss. One missing paycheck derails the budget. One broken relationship unravels the family. One medical diagnosis changes everything. We're wired to protect the ninety-nine stable things while that one lost piece consumes our nights.
But heaven operates on different math entirely.
In Jesus' story, a shepherd does the unthinkable: leaves ninety-nine sheep exposed on the hillside to chase one wanderer. Any business consultant would fire him. Any insurance company would drop him. The risk-to-reward ratio makes no sense.
Unless you're the one who wandered off.
